Website Creation

There are three basic steps that need to be done to build a website:
Buy a domain name -> Hosting -> Select a website builder to 'build' your site.
1. Own a domain name
The domain name is the address of the website. For example, to find our web site, you should visit our domain: buildwebsiteguide.com. This is a domain name and it is unique on the internet. The domain is purchased through a company called Registrar for at least one year. The domain is recommended to:
- Be strongly related to the main topic of the website.
- Contain keywords with many searches per month, as analyzed in the previous step.
- Be brief (if possible) and easy to be recalled.
- Have a suffix. Com which is search engine friendly or .org or .net if .com is not available

2. Create hosting account
After the purchase of the domain, then you need to find a company that provides you with a server ( large computer with huge memory disk availadble ) to host the files of your website. The files of your website, text, photographs, videos etc., are published to the Internet via a server. A monthly fee is required in order to host these files on that server. The Server may be located anywhere in the world. Having the appropriate login details from your hosting company, you access the server (you have chosen to host our website) and "upload" files to the server from where they will by published on the internet.
 The hosting cost is monthly and ranges from 4 to 12 dollars per month. 3. Platform selection for creating your website
There are two main methods to build your site. If you know programming and specifically html code , you can build a site from scratch. If you don't know html, you don't have to worry about this since  there are many available free and easy to use website builders to "build" your website easily and quickly.
